MIDI drawn notes stopped making sound.

I dont know what I did, but Im drawing in drum parts with addictive drums, but suddenly the playback on the parts stopped. I still get sound when clicking the drum kit and everythign else. I tried new tracks, , same thing, sound is fine but no note playback. I started a new song, and it works fine. Ive compared the two songs and cant find any differences...

Obviously I hit some setting, and cant figure it out. any ideas? thanks.

Im on S1 7, btw, but I seem to remember this happening before on a previous version

Please update your signature (see link and example in mine) with your system specs as it helps when responding to questions.

maybe this will help. It looks like the midi files are ghosted or greyed out or something.

I use my laptop just for drawing midi and use a desktop for tracking mixing, so I feel the system specs are irrelevant for whatever setting issue this is, but ill attach my laptop specs anyway. just know this isnt my main DAW computer

also, nothing happens when I try to export the midi file. Its like its locked, or ghosted or something. Im sure its something simple...

It looks like some of the clips are muted. Hit the 'K' key to see if you can un-mute them. Also, expand the layers to see if you have clip that are muted because there are other clips in a different layer. I would also select them all and hit 'g' to group them so you dont see so many clips

Thanks but thats not it. I can mute and unmute, and see the mute icon when I do. I went to a working song and muted it, and I can still export it if I want. I cant even find an actual midi file for this.
Im trying to figure out how to expand the layers. That sounds like a possibility, as if the real midi file is buried under something.

Its not that either. Even if go forward and make a new event and draw more midi in, its still wont playback, (but its still makes the drum sound while I draw it)

Ok, so I AM able to export the midi files, and drag them into a new song and get it to play... its a workaround at least, but Id like to know how to just undo it...

And if I import a midi file into the song im working on, even on new tracks it doesnt work, so I changed some setting within the song itself

You only posted a screenshot of tracks in the Arranger.
Please post screenshots of the Editor and Mixer views and/or a video link showing the issue...

I found a way to export the midi files and just put them in a new song. If it happens again, Ill bump.
