Solved Map Pitch to a keyboard key?

Hi guys, got another question! wondering if anyone could answer...

I'm trying to map a C1 and some pitches to an external computer keyboard (not piano keyboard) so I can press it with my foot like a pedal.

Does anyone know how to map a pitch to a key or a shortcut?

Check BobF's link first. Its directly tied to Studio One. If for any reason you want another solution. I use your scenario when needing a specific MIDI key on an instrument using Devicemeister's Stepic. For example I may want in a live situation for a single key to trigger a particular sequence, or automation. Stepic is cheap and very useful in such ways.

Thanks guys! I figured it out, I think you will need a 3rd party program to do it properly and I happened to have bettertouchtool so I used that after adding a virtual midi port (IAC) on my mac in the mac midi settings.
