Mackie MCU works in SO6, cannot get it functional in SO7.

-Midiman Midisport 4x4
-PreSonus AudioBox USB 96 Interface
(Lota of irrelevant hardware)

OS: Windows 11 22h2

I was running Studio One 6 with my Mackie MCU and 2 Extenders for a while, I upgraded to 7 and not only updated drivers for what I could but reset the MCU to HUI mode, added as Mackie MCU and Extender, used placeholder to group together and verified routing of MIDI cabling.

No matter what I can't get my MCU to work with 7. I Uninstaller 7 and reinstalled 6, re-configured the MCU the same way as always and its working again.

Is it possible 7 is pending an update? Anyone have any thoughts?

The boards been with me for so long and she's more dependable than any device I ever owned. They don't make em like this anymore (under 50k lol).

Can anyone else kindly help?

ONE time I got it to power on with 7 and the master fader worked but if you moved any of the channel faders up they would instantly mechanically return to 0. Weird.

Uninstalled 7, reinstalled 6, re added all my gear and my MCU and Extenders are working again.

What device files are you using and why the change of MCU to HUI?

Hi, you‘re probably that guy from Reddit I redirected here? As Trucky said please provide screenshots and info about your setup and we should be able to assist. As far as I know nothing was changed from 6 to 7 regarding MCU and HUI implementation.
