Laucher - set Play Start Marker

Hello all,

My practice with the launcher is:
1. set the loop to play according to my needs
2. set the play start marker (green triangle) to start at the beginning

I like to move the blue looping area, to tweak and search for happy incidents.
Doing this, I also need to move the play start marker to get it work. It slowers the workflow...

Is there a way in the launcher to set "play start marker follows loop start", to automatically resolve the 2nd practice ?

+1. This is so missing for basic operation.

Kinda hard to see what purpose it serves (in any cell) to "not" have the Play Start Marker be permanently bonded to Loop Start.

I mean - if the Play Start is sitting at the start of Bar 1 (in the MIDI clip) and the looped area I actually want to play starts at Bar 4.1 - what happens with that huge empty space between the start of Bar 2 and start of my actual loop? Dead air?

Not sure if this helps, but there is a way (option) to have stop return to the place playback started from without using PSM

No, I have not tested this with launcher

One use I can think of...
This might be a method whereby there is an intitial attack running into a drone type sound. After the intial attack has triggered that then continues to loop, allowing for a continuous sound whilst a note is running?

Isn't this the same as creating loop points in a sampler when editing something other than just a one shot type sample.

Kindest regards.
