Labeling a MIDI control surface

Hi, I know this if off topic as it is not specifically related to Studio One, but this is the lounge...

I want to know what type of durable label I can print to stick on the buttons of a control surface like this.

I map the buttons to specific S1 functions, i.e., Insert Measure. Poor man's control surface, essentially. I like having all of these options right near my main keyboard so I don't have to turn to the PC and remember what key I have mapped to what function.

I'd like to have durable, color labels stuck to each button. I will layout the labels in Photoshop and make a PDF.

I have a B&W laser printer at home, but would prefer to print in color at FedEx Office. What can folks recommend? Thanks.

Welcome to the group.

I use one of these to make B&W labels for almost anything. It's handy, but you would have to get different tape cartridges to get colors.

There are letter size plastic sheets that are printable with inkjets, but I doubt they could take the wear and tear without making a mess. Maybe the folks at FedEx Office can help you out.

Since those buttons are color-backlit you probably want decals, covered with a high quality clear foil. For the foil you can check with car body shops. Ask for the clear foil they use to protect door wells on high end cars. Expensive stuff though...
