Invisible FX Chain Macro Control Buttons?

In v8.2, try loading an FX Chain from my book that has Macro Control Buttons (e.g., SweetMultibandChorus.multipreset or Tape Emulator.multipreset). Can you see the buttons? The buttons are still there, but any user-assigned colors seem to be missing. I think all the button colors have been reset to black, so they're invisible against the black background.

Am I going crazy or is this happening to others using 8.2?

Where did the macro control buttons go?

Has anyone else found that their macro control buttons are invisible? Here's a shot of what I'm talking about. The Chorus plugin has its Spread control assigned to the first button, as the label says. The button works, but it never appears.
