I like FSP8

My computer stuff is listed in my sig. I am a fan boy. Using my Px-5s and Arturia MiniLab I really need nothing more as a hobbyist and wildlife videographer. I've been to other forums and of course Facebook page and see so much "fix this, this is better than that", I wonder how much time is spent making music. But I really like the work environment and the Mastering page in FSP8, as it has been, is such a time saver. I just thought I'd say, Fender has done a good job over the years no matter what their product is called.

Awesome, glad you're enjoying SP8!

Now if we only had a dollar every time those rants appeared.

Agreed. Personally, I hate the name. Although I will likely (as it stands) anti up eventually when I have the time, and care to buy the update. Until then, the name, and offering is a non issue. We use what we have, need, and look to the most important things. Making projects happen. Fender, and Presonus have their things to develop, and we have ours.

Best I can suggest is to stay away from the FB related stuff, and similar. Those people should put such emotion into their music, instead of wearing them on their sleeve.

Peace, and enjoy!

Hear hear! I bet I'd like it too but I'm to busy composing and enjoying music creation right now to upgrade.

Good luck, and enjoy your new PRS, Bob!
I was looking at those SENF3's, as well as some comparisons. Its all good, and some will want to tell you they're better here, or better there. It's all pretty funny because any guitar, even the same model, make, and year right off the large inventory wall is going to be better here, or better there. 😀 I am a big strat guy, but I'm also a big fan of most guitars, including PRS. Particularly all of their SE2 models in general. I bought a used SE2 about 4 years ago from Guitar Center. I never would even consider ever buying a guitar on-line, but my gut said it looks mint, its a PRS (known for consistency), so go for it. The guitar came up from South Carolina, and when I pulled it out of the box, I could not believe what I was holding. Cosmetically, not so much as a single scratch, anywhere. Then the setup, the playing, and ultimately the recording. Yes I got lucky, but I'm convinced PRS are a hallmark of consistency. PRS models even get a knock from some that they lack soul. Hah! That's typically, from wannebe collectors, or non PRS owners, than people who actually know what they have in their hands. More importantly, then they can actually play. The fact that you like the neck size, the feel, the playability of yours tells me you purchased the right guitar. To either the many, or few you own. It doesnt matter, you dig it. Excellent!

For my two cents and varied mileage, I have a mid nineties Fender MIJ 54' Strat that is even closer than what Fender USA even produced as a 54' vintage, and it is just incredible. Only to my earlier point, I grabbed one off the wall at Sam Ash here in NYC. The salesman brought up two more from the stockroom, and I still chose the one on the wall because while all three were exceptional, the one on the wall just spoke, played, had the right vibration, and ..... you get the idea. When ANY guitar is good, and one can grab the character out of what that instrument can produce, they'll know and the rest will happen.

Couldn't be happier for you, Bob. Sounds like you bagged a "keeper".

P.s. All of my guitars are down south, as I'm relocating. Stupid me, I should have left one guitar with me and I'm going through withdrawals. You could even say, the shakes.
; )

Edit: Ooops, I responded in the wrong thread. Can someone move this over to

PRS SE NF3.

Silly me, must be my separation from my guitars. Ahhhh!

I'm finding that the Mustang Native plug-in is an overachiever. It's a solid collections of amps, cabinets, and processors that go beyond the norm and are suitable for more than guitars. While Mustang Native won't replace Helix Native for me, they work well together.

I'm redoing quite a few Ampire-based tips in my book with Mustang Native. This often results in a more streamlined and flexible FX Chain or Track Preset. For example, being able to choose any of 33 cabs with an FX Chain Macro Control is pretty cool.

I've been working may way thru A/B of Mustang Native with other sims I have. So far I prefer the MN versions of Fender amps (big surprise), For all-around other amps I'm still reaching for GR7 most often. AmpliTube still sounds good, but what an awful UI to navigate.

I still need to dust off the sims from Waves; PRS and GTR.
