How to route output from Vst to trigger another VST?

Hi, PC, Windows 11, Iostation24c , Virus TI2 rackmount w/ VST

How do I route MIDI output from one VST instrument to trigger another VST instrument in Studio One Pro 8 ? Or, is it not possible?
 
Choose the source VSTi as the input for the destination.

Not sure. Everything I use now is pretty much VST3.

Are you trying mixed and having problems? What are the specifics and what are the results?
 
I have the Virus TI VST3 on one channel and the TX16Wx Sampler VST3 on another channel. I am trying to accomplish a multi sample via the TX16Wx feature called Midigen whereby I set parameters in the multi sampler and then the TX16W actually Plays/Records the Virus TI VST3 patch at different intervals and records the multi sample into waves so I can automate an entire patch multi sample within the TX16W. I have tried a multitude of settings but cannot get the TX Sampler VST to communicate with the Virus TI VST.
 
The only thing I can offer is to make sure monitoring is enabled on both tracks. Other than that I'm out of ideas.
