How to know if a plugin is present before unfreeze a track

How to know if a plugin is present before unfreeze a track?
If I unfreeze a track and the relevant plugin no longer exists, I have to press Ctrl+Z, save, and then proceed with each of the other tracks.
I would like either an alert when unfreezing (e.g., "Warning: the corresponding plugin was not found; do you want to continue?") or a visual indicator.

Why don't you experiment with a scratch track for testing purposes - put on a plugin with obvious effects and then try out this freezing and unfreezing to see what happens.
