How to identify which instrument created the MIDI if using "All Inputs" with multiple instruments?

Theoretical question here: If we are using a midi controller which governs two midi instruments being inputted into Studio One and S1 receives the exact same midi note info from both (as viewed in the Midi Monitor) and we record that information on an instrument track where "All Inputs" is selected, the instrument track shows both midi notes (one on top of the other). Is there a way to identify which instrument created which midi note?

Btw, I fully realize that this confusion can be avoided by specifying the input on the track, but curious what really happens when "All Inputs" is used and duplicate info is received by S1.

P.S. This scenario is easily replicated with the Arturia 4x4 interface which will accept both a midi input and a USB input and create two inputs in S1 and the midi monitor will show that S1 has received two midi notes. Recording on an instrument track will show two notes: one on top of the other.
