How to copy a section of a song from one .song to another .song?

I have two versions of the same 'song' and want to copy a verse or two from one to another.

Normally I would open both and do the copy, but what if both projects can't be open at the same time (e.g. running out of memory etc)? What would be the next easiest method?

Hi,
if you didn't used any or the same fx, you can simply find the files in one of the subfolder of the old song.

They don't need to be open at the same time. You can copy the events of your song, then close the song, open another and paste.

Alternatively: Open the song "with Options". It allows you to open the song without 3rd-party plug-ins. This way, you definitely won't run out of memory.

Not really - it would only work for songs that consist of one long (unedited) audio file per track. Not for MIDI events, not for edited events, not for events inserted at a specific position on a specific track. It's not a solution at all.
