Hi guys, Refuge from Cakewalk/Sonar here. In Sonar you can have overlapping events on a single track; or create "take lanes" with overlapping events (clips). Either way you can hear all unmuted events during playback, unless you mute them.
I've experimented with overlapping events and Track Layers in Studio One/Pro, and it seems that a) overlapping events are muted; and b) only one layer can be audible at a time.
Is this correct? Am i missing an option somewhere? I get that this behavior in Cakewalk is somewhat idiosyncratic.
I figure I could create duplicate tracks and essentially manage audible overlaps/lanes that way, but any common FX or automation envelopes would need be be pushed out to a common Bus track, right? So, if there's a way to avoid that, I'm obviously interested.
Thanks in advance
