Getting Rid of Unwanted Frequencies

Me thinks you need to apply some EQ...

VP

Its too vague a question. eg too little information. What is the VST exactly. What are the sounds coming from it eg presets. What is the problem in general? EQ may solve the issue but then again you may need a more complex plugin that can detect and remove unwanted resonances etc..
Also maybe put your system specs in your signature so we can see what version of FSP you are running or Studio One etc..

What is exactly the unwanted frequency range you're concerned about? It's part of the speak. Or provide an audio example. Thx.

You might need something as straightforward as a high or low pass filter (HPF or LPF). One of a mix engineers instant go to frequency filter cut-off controls. This simply takes away your high and/or low frequency concerns as in lopping off what you dont want to enter at all. Your choice.

The bundled Pro EQ has these available in addition to its excellent dynamic possibilities.
