Finally upgrading from S17

Well, finally ready to take the plunge and upgrade from S17 to Fender Studio Pro 8. My critical question is:

Will all my Toolbox expansions and other add-ons (Harmony Wizard, Presonus Grand Piano, Construction Kits, Loops, etc.) still be there when I do the upgrade?

Or will I have to re-install all those in Studio Pro?

Windows 10 22H2, Intel i7, 32 GB Ram, 1 TB storage

If the installation works as expected, all add-ons and Sound Sets should be available automatically. Most users report that this is the case.

I’ve heard of a few rare cases where Harmony Wizard or Scoring Tools require a new activation (mostly when switching from a PreSonus subscription to a perpetual license), but a reinstallation should not be necessary.

As an experienced user, it's also worth knowing where your User Data Location (songs, projects, user presets, macros) and Sound Set Location (PreSonus Grand Piano, PSO construction kits, other Sound Sets) are on your system. You can find them under Options → Locations (User Data & Sound Sets). If something is missing after a new installation, in 90% of cases the reason is that these paths are no longer set correctly (for whatever reason).

I created a 5 page install guide when building out a new DAW to document exactly where everything is and screencapped all key dialogs and backed up all key setting before doing an clean (New) install or an upgrade.

The upgrade will install into it's own unique folder location and will grab ALL your settings. My upgrade took 5 minutes and everything was fully functional.
