Fender Universal Control Update

Hello All! I'm currently running Studio One 7 and Fender Studio Pro concurrently. I'm finishing a project that I started in Studio One in Studio One but checking out Studio Pro once in a while. I understand that there's an update to Universal Control. If I go with the update, will that break Studio One?

No not really. Both Studio One 7 and Fender Studio 8 are running fine for me. I just updated to UC5 as well. There were no firmware updates for me for either Faderport 8 or Studio 24c.

Having a nightmare of a time after (unsuccessfully) trying to instal Universal Control5 (MacMiniM4 running Tahoe) Lots of spinning beachballs.... when it did finish, it didn't recognize my Quantum2 interface I Uninstalled version5 and tried to go back to the previous version still no interface detected I had SIP turned off At one point it instructed me to manually remove some extensions but only gave me a spinning beachball when I selected more info Thanks Fender! Now I have no audio interface at all any recommendations?

After booting in recovery mode (Mac Tahoe) and turning SIP off in the terminal and rebooting and installing Universal Control (previous version) and rebooting again I have my Quantum2 back! Maybe I'll wait before tryin V5 Are there any new features?
