Fender Tone

I’m not really a guitarist so my knowledge of how to dial up good guitar tone is limited. I noticed Fender has a Tone App and website where people share all the tones they make with Mustang (maybe this is an actual mustang amp or perhaps the mobile version or something? It’s not clear to me what this is). Is there a way to use this to import tones into the Studio Pro version of Mustang? Looks like you can dial in the tones by copying the pictures but it’d be much more handy to just be able to import the tone presets people make. I couldn’t find how to do it, anyone know?

I can see where this would be pretty handy

Use your ears, move the knobs.

I dont know, but I did buy tue Katana Go2 last year and it makes the whole Katana settings and fx all quite universal, even to the amps. Settings wise, of course.

Yeah, that's just it. What will be important is finding what works for YOU. then save and recall them as needed. They'll always be some subtle tinkering, but having reliable settings are key. I have the Neural DSP Mesa Boogie, and the settings are way too sensitive. So getting presets locked in are all too important. They'll likely have more on this as time goes on. I'd suspect they would try to at least match the way Boss Katana does things.

Interesting idea. I would welcome sharing presets for mustang. I've only used it and rumble this week on guitars and its been good...much less resource intensive than my other guitar plugins, so I can see continuing to do so.

I do like the presets provided...I found them very usable..I could quickly find a tone that fit and dial it in later, which is great as I otherwise get lost in trying to get the tone right out the gate.

Katana was mentioned.. Its really cool to see what folks have come up with in tone studio. If we can share sound variations in SP, would love to share presets too!

Related, I would like to see improvements made to preset search...would be cool to use an atom controller for example to navigate presets.
