I see the upgrade price is still $99. Not a bad price at all, and really has not changed. I'll eventually get Studio Pro, largely because I'm working with the Studiolive 16 SE mk3. So having the customer support on that front will be beneficial. Right now, I dont need to make that move. We shall see. I'll let the kinks get wrung out, and I have other software ventures to acquire. Cheers on the heads up sale though! Enjoy!
I've just bought a new audio interface - Quantum HD2 - which comes with a FSP8 perpetual licence. I'd hoped they could apply it to my existing account as though I'd bought an upgrade, but apparently that's too difficult. I had to register a new 'MyFender' account, register the device on that account, deactivate Studio Pro on my 'main' account and reactivate it on my new account. A faff, but it's worked - and I only paid £220 for the HD2! An interesting snippet that came from Support was 'who knows if FSP8 will still be getting updates in a year's time' which I took to mean that FSP9 - or '27' - is planned within that timescale. I did push further but got silence!

Not exactly a streamlined update path.

Curious, is there an easy list of what are the current technical issues with Fender Pro 8. Not a link to where that is discussed, but some simple list. I read something about rendering audio to some degree (possibly mono), but I've not really cared much these last few months due to our move, and well..... just not caring.
If the items are too lengthy, NP. I understand.
Just respond, "lengthy".
Thanks.
I don't have an authoritative reference, but I don't think the list specific to FSP8 is lengthy at all. There are Studio One issues that go back some years which the wishlist gives several clues to (!) and which still exist, but I think most of the bugs that FSP8 introduced have been squashed.
