Fender Studio doesn't render automatisations

Hello everyone. I've only been using fender studio for 10 months, and I honestly would like to stay in this Daw, I really like it. I use it purely for mixing and mastering. But lately, I've been faced with a big problem that I can't solve in any way.

The fact is that Fender Studio does not see automation and its results during rendering. Let me explain more detaily:

For example I have several modulation effects on one track in my insect channel - flanger, chorus and tremollo. According to the idea, the timelines should be activated one at a time at different times. I am automating the bypass so that during the operation of the flanger, the chorus and tremolo are in the bypass, and so on alternately. All the changes are present in the monitoring, but when I export Mixdown, no matter what the render parameters are, there are no changes in the final version. Please tell me how to solve this problem?

This issue was fixed in a subsequent version. Make sure you're using the latest version.

I did a simple test and it all works fine. I am thinking you have not set it up correctly.

1 I dragged out a pink noise audio file onto an audio track. I inserted all three plugins in series from the Fender range. Chorus/Flange/Tremolo. Open all the plugins and pin them so they all stay open.

2 Go to Automation mode (press A) now click on the downward triangle (Display OFF) to reveal Volume and Panning already there. Use the Add/Remove menu to add Bypass parameter for all three plugins. They will be inside the Inserts folder. Inside the Inserts folder is a folder for each of these plugins, scroll right down to Bypass. Make sure they have all been added to the Volume/Pan parameters now over on the left. (Make sure you click on << Add in the middle of the two windows and then it shows up on the left under Volume and Pan)

3 For each plugin now turn them all on and leave them on using the main blue power button top left. But now activate the orange bypass button directly to the right of the main power button. The insert effect is on but will be bypassed so its OFF really when the orange button is lit.

4 Now for each of the bypass parameters listed in the Automation menu put them all into WRITE mode one by one. (Click on the parameter over on the left. Now look at the window directly to the right of the Bypass button. It will say READ initially but you need to put that into WRITE mode. Do this for all three)

5 Start the DAW. (just in play) All effects will initially be off. To engage an effect press the right bypass button (It now goes off and the effect comes on, turn off by clicking the bypass button back on) You can switch bypass buttons on and off at will on any of the plugins that are pinned and still open. All those moves will be recorded.

6 Now go back and put all of those Bypass parameters back into READ Mode.

The DAW will play all those moves back perfectly. Rendering this will include all the automation now.

If you don't want to do it on the fly you can precisely draw all the automation by hand instead. When the line is at the top it is bypassed hence no effect. When you drop the line right down to the bottom the bypass is OFF and hence the effect is ON. eg there are only two states for this parameter obviously. You have to select each bypass parameter over at the left menu in order to bring its automation up front and on so can draw things.

Press A again to get out of automation mode and all this automation will go away but its still happening underneath of course. You could set this up on three tracks if you wanted as well. Just have the plugins open, have them all in write mode and bypass away and it will still be recorded and rendered also.

Welcome to the forum!

A good start would be to add your specs to your signature as we suggest in the notice :-)

You're saying...
I've only been using fender studio for 10 months,
...but Fender Studio Pro was only released 5 months ago. Fender Studio (without "Pro"), however, is a mobile/desktop app that can be used on a tablet or smartphone and doesn't support automation at all. So I suspect you're referring to Fender Studio Pro. It would be be useful to know more details in order to help you.
