Fader connexion with plugin parameter ?

Hello, I've tried to find a way to connect a fader to a plugin parameter without success. Do you know if it's possible?

Which controller? What have you tried?

Specs in your sig would be helpful too.

I'd like to assign any parameter of plugin insert (Like predelay of a reverb) of a channel on an independant fader like a VCA but it s not possible directly, maybe ther is a way ?
