Expand all folders macro

Hi guys, I’d like a way to easily expand all folders in a song. I created a macro to select all tracks and then perform the expand folders command, which works but only if ALL tracks are in folders. If there’s a lone track not in a folder it breaks the macro. Anyone know a work around? There’s a collapse all folders command, strange there’s not just a native expand all folders command too. Or even better a toggle all folders.
Or am I missing something?

Update: I’ve found that ‘expand folders’ does toggle them open and closed but the problem I’m still up against is a macro-able ‘select all tracks’ (but only folders) in order to be able to execute that command on all folders. I can filter folders in the track list so I’m only seeing folders - that could work, but I can’t find a ‘show folders’ filter or similar in the key commands which means I can’t add that to my macro any ideas?

That's funny: I actually implemented an "Expand All Folder Tracks" command yesterday which will be part of the next beta of Scoring Tools 2.0. The command will have an "Expand" argument so it can be used within a macro (to set the Expand state to 1 or 0) or to toggle expand/collapse with a keyboard shortcut.

This is a macro that works for me, only premise: The First Track has to be a folder-track:

Yes, "Expand Folder Track" works only if the first selected track is a folder track - so you won't get a reliable macro that way.

Yes, "Expand Folder Track" works only if the first selected track is a folder track - so you won't get a reliable macro that way.

- Navigation/First Track
- Navigation/Last Track Extend
- Track/Expand Folder Track ("1")
- Navigation/First Track
- Edit/Deselect All

Collapse All Folders:

- Navigation/First Track
- Navigation/Last Track Extend
- Track/Expand Folder Track ("0")
- Navigation/First Track
- Edit/Deselect All




I have them mapped to ctrl+shift+alt+Enter and shift+alt+Enter, it really speeds up my workflow.

The "Expand All Folder Tracks" command (with a "0" argument) included in Scoring Tools 2 Beta 4 closes all folders.
