Enhancing MIDI drums

You can detect transients, drag those over to a instrument track and have that trigger an impact pad for example.

Ohw, I don't know about v4, I entered this realm in the v5 era and I"m currently in v7, but I guess the same principle applies.
The confirmation and pitch correction van be done by double clicking on the midi event. The note editor window (at least in v5 and above) offers several view options with the icons top left of the edit window. This was done in the drum editor.
I wouldn't know why this couldn't be done with a snare track, but the video doesn't show that...

Would that include midi drum plugins

OK watched the video. Two questions...did he copy and paste the snare track and how did he see and confirm the pitch of the sample and the track??
Yes, I did the same thing (as shown in Gregor's video) using EZDrummer instead of Impact.

After detecting the transients you click and drag the event to the instrument track.
Then select the notes in the Editor and move them to the correct pitch (Kick, Snare, etc.)

Ok? Also when I create the transient on the audio track and try to drag them to the instrument track the audio track moves with them … in the video only the transient triggers move and the wave file stays behind.. how do you do that?

I confirmed what Gregor demonstrates in the video also works in Studio One 4.

Make sure (after analyzing and adjusting threshold bend markers) that you press "Apply" before drag and dropping the event to a instrument track.

Post screenshots (or a link to a video) that shows what you're doing so we can maybe see why it's not working for you.

In Studio One is there a way to trigger midi drums from a recorded audio track? i.e. enhancing an audio drum track with virtual drums?
I confirmed that Studio One 4 Artist works as expected for what you're asking.

I watched the video about fattening up a drum track with midi using transients. Can drum loops be used the same way??
What commands would be used pasting a loop snare??
