In Studio One is there a way to trigger midi drums from a recorded audio track? i.e. enhancing an audio drum track with virtual drums?
Would that include midi drum pluginsYou can detect transients, drag those over to a instrument track and have that trigger an impact pad for example.
Edit: with video link
OK watched the video. Two questions...did he copy and paste the snare track and how did he see and confirm the pitch of the sample and the track?? Remeber I am in Studio One 4.You can detect transients, drag those over to a instrument track and have that trigger an impact pad for example.

Yes, I did the same thing (as shown in Gregor's video) using EZDrummer instead of Impact.Would that include midi drum plugins

I confirmed that Studio One 4 Artist works as expected for what you're asking. In Studio One is there a way to trigger midi drums from a recorded audio track? i.e. enhancing an audio drum track with virtual drums?
No commands needed. Just drag in the snare loop (audio) and follow the same steps that Gregor demonstrated in the video using Impact or what I posted previously using EZDrummer.I watched the video about fattening up a drum track with midi using transients. Can drum loops be used the same way??
What commands would be used pasting a loop snare??
