Driver for original 16.0.2

Hi everyone, I've had a friend refurbish my old 16.0.2 FIREWIRE and by sheer coincidence I have a rare drum tracking session planned. I do have an older PCI Firewire card I can install ... assuming all this legacy stuff can be brought to life, can anyone tell me what category/component of the Universal Control I need to install to provide drivers for the 16.0.2? I have an 1810C, so I usually only install the USB Drivers. Hopefully some component of the katest UC will recognise the 16.0.2? I'd prefer not to install and older UC just for this exercise.
Alternatively, I also have an 1818VSL which I can potentially use as an ADAT extension to the 1810C, but it seems it's so simple as connecting up the 1818VSL via ADAT for the 1810C to "see" it.
I think the 16.0.2 could be the best option.
FWIW, I have a Behringer Ultragain Pro 8 hooked up and actually working, but the preamps ...

If you have thunderbolt you can use one or two Apple adapter leaders for FireWire, depending on what speed you are trying to achieve, (my motherboard has thunderbolt and I use them to connect to my spare Saffire Pro 40).
