Hi all, interested to hear what you think of this track. Its an original production.

Usually I am into the more heavy stuff, but lately I've been doing some more easy listening and was kinda into making some kind of pop rock track. First attempt at this specific genre, but I like the result.

This track transports me back to my youth (I'm turning 60 this year). I love it. Cool song ✌👍

Good voice that's right for the song. Sounds like the radio! -s

There's a lot to like - the tempo twist, the way it builds to the vocal peak at 0:55, and then pulls back. And dynamics! As well as vocal emotional dynamic range with the vocals. Also, it passes the test of a good songwriting - you could do an arrangement with just voice and guitar or piano, and it would still come across. Another test of good writing is being able to switch genres. I think you could do a country arrangement without even breaking a sweat. Good job.

I have only two suggestions. One is to have an ending instead of a fade. Totally subjective of course, but the song tells a story so I think an ending would wrap it up and the song is structured so that you could do it. The other is that although I like the denseness of the mix, I think you could dial it back about 15% to give the voice a little more space. When you have a vocal like that, feel free to flaunt it (y)
