Does S1 have a "insert/paste at counter" command?

I was working on a project last night, and had a lot of sound files lined up with their own markers. I trimmed the start on one of the audio events, and then I wanted to snap it to the existing marker in the timeline so It was dead-on with the marker again. I searched and could not find out how to do this. Is there a "move start to Marker' command? Or, a "move/place event start to counter" command? Maybe, some kind of "Snap to Marker or Counter" command?

Coming from MOTU DP, I am finding the marker track implementation to be a little lacking in comparison. It works in S1, but is very basic and a little clumsy.

Perhaps the solution is in some sort of Macro solution? This is totally new to me, but I have seen some videos describing it in S1...

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

The two shortcuts that you might want are:

L (Locate Selection)
Cmd/Ctrl+L (Move to Cursor)

Click on the marker. Press L. This moves the cursor to the marker position. Then click on your audio event to select it. Press Cmd/Ctrl+L to move the event to the cursor (= marker position).

Does this help?

Yes, I will try this out. Thank you for the reply.

Edit: I also found that you can click on the marker entry in the Marker window list and it will set the cursor to that marker position. Then, you can select the event and hit Cmd+L to get it to snap to the cursor position. But, good to know I can set the cursor to something else, like an event, using the L key.

An additional way to move between markers is located at the bottom of the track view near the Play and Stop buttons. There are left and right triangle buttons that look like a play button but are a little smaller. Clicking those moves between markers going left or right. If I need to line something up, I will Cut the event, then move to the marker where I want the event to be placed, and do a Paste at the marker.
