Here in the Pacific Northwest we have had a Seattle based hair restoration company that was running a basically DnB soundtrack advert with no VO that was the victim of massive over compression for the last two years.
It was in excess of 10% harmonic & 3% intermodulation, at least.
Earlier this summer I tracked down the original production house and told them of their gross malfeasance.
Lo & behold... about a month ago the same ad resurfaced sounding MUCH better.

Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I post my songs here: to get feedback from other perspectives, since I can only judge them from my own.

Some of that feedback gives me ideas that I can use in my next song, or even in an updated version of an existing one.

And I've noticed that when I listen to my own songs again over time, I often come up with new ideas myself about what I could do a little differently next time
