Detune Automation on S1

Is there a way in S1 to control the automation of the detune like on synth please ?

Pitch Automation is a new feature or you gonna use retro mix legends cassette if it fits your needs. But even a chorus can do that. Maybe you have a Look at Flair from Native Instruments. It's far more than a simple Flanger but has only a few knobs and is a real beast for getting creative magic. It comes along with Choral and Phasis as part of the NI Mod Pack and the best thing to check out

In a roundabout way. If you drag your sample or audio into Sample One, you could then automate its pitch bend. Ala, like a real Sample player/synth would anyway. I do that with guitar on occasion. Thats one way.

Thanks. I mentioned one way. That way is free and available in Studio Pro as it is. Flair is a nice alternative. Its also part of a $69 bundle from NI. Maybe it can be had on its own. Anyway, there's different possibilities to achieve this.

I think the OP means with an existing software instrument. For example if you own KeySolutions Traveler which is an amazing new synth that has come out, if you insert that instrument onto an Instrument track then you can Press A for example to go into automation mode. Click the downward pointing arrow to the the right of 'Display off' Then click on Add/Remove and a large box appears with all the available synth parameters appear on the right hand side.

In Traveler for example the individual oscillators detune parameter appears and then yes you can create a lane for that parameter. In some synths if you put them into Unison mode then an overall Detune knob maybe available on the instrument. If it is then it is likely to appear as an automatable parameter. Then yes you can control that via automation also. But it needs to be available in that right hand list of available parameters that can be automated though. That list can be very long also with some instruments. Often many folders appear here and you have to open them individually to see what parameters they contain also. eg with some GForce synths for example.

That could be. Then any existing synth that has pitch or detunes coarse or fine could have automation by virtue of Control Link. Then place automation, or a macro with autonation against it. Yes, I see how the OP could be suggesting in its original form, a VSTi. After locating the parameter by Control link, drag the hand (now turned white) to the tabs at the bottom of an event, or its own track. Then map it if you choose with a fader, knob, or draw in automation.

Ah OK. I thought he meant the effect on a seperate bus or the main while mixing live.
