The detect tempo feature doesn't seem to be working correctly - or I'm unclear on how to use it. I tried searching for 'detect tempo' in the on-line help and it wasn't very helpful, lol.
Here's what I'm doing.
I start a new project, load a WAV file of drums.
I right click on the audio event, choose Detect Tempo ..... it processes and the result remains the default 120 bpm. Then I notice the audio event's tempo is changed to 'Map' (instead of 'Not Set') and playback is much slower than expected. I think the actual tempo is around 150 or so and S1 has mapped it to 120 bpm (or so it seems).
This seems more of a 'map to tempo' rather than 'detect tempo'.
Am I misunderstanding?
