Solved Custom Sound Variations of VSL Synchron Player not stored in Studio Pro 8?

thanks, wonder if it's because I am on Golden Gate OS...

If i create a new track and load a synchron preset and look at my sound variations map I don't see any options to edit the map, there should be a "new variation" and "remove" button to make custom maps, right?
Also, if i then load an empty map I saved before and save the instrument preset and then load that preset on a new track it again strips the custom "empty" map and auto-loads the sound variations from the current synchron preset.
Don't want to be "that guy", but installing Golden Gate might indeed be part of the problem. It's a golden rule in audio to never ever install a new operating system until it is made clear by every developer (if possible) that it is supported.
It could be the problem is not Studio Pro but the library you are using or a VST3 problem that surfaces on Golden Gate.
On the other hand, you are in touch with support, so they will probably sort you out. But still: try to always wait at least 6 months until you upgrade your OS:

as i said I am having this issue on Tahoe as well, when I opened the ticket Golden Gate didn't even exist

But yeah i will keep waiting for support while use Cubase, not an issue

No. I don't have those options for VSL Synchron Player (or any other instrument that supports the Sound Variations API), either.

@Lukas
in your video I still see no way to add/remove sound variations to a map, unless i start over from a UACC preset where i can delete all sound variations and create my own
Correct.

but once i save that map and also save a preset using that map and then recall it on a new track, it will ignore the new map and load the automatic one instead...
Correct – if the map is empty, it will be reloaded from the instrument. This is the first time you've mentioned this here, though, so that's a different issue.

Since I already opened this ticket almost a year ago and they know about the issue, I'd like to understand if/when it's going to be fixed
Since I'm not sure whether this is considered a bug, I don't know if it will be fixed at all.

I think that's rather unlikely, though not impossible. I haven't had a chance to verify this particular issue on macOS yet.

Anyway, that's not quite the same issue this thread was originally about.
