Custom FaderPort Parameter Editing for "Triangle" Instruments Broken?

For plug-ins with a lot of parameters, you may not want to wade through dozens of Autofilled FaderPort pages to find the desired parameter. For example, when using FaderPort 8, Studio Pro’s “triangle” instruments have 79 pages—that’s a lot of parameters!

If you want to use the FaderPort 8 faders to control the blue, yellow, and red level bars in Lead Architect, thel yellow bar is on page 23, the red one on page 41, and the blue one on page 59. You’ll be hitting Prev and Next a lot to find those faders. Nor are the faders in the same physical positions on a page.

In FSP8, it seems like it's no longer possible to create custom pages for the triangle synths. You used to be able to call up the External Devices section, choose FaderPort, choose Edit, then turn off Auto-Fill. Then you could program FaderPort faders the control particular triangle instrumentparameters, the way you would for any control surface. However, the abiliy to link the FaderPort fader to the parameter seems broken.

Anyone else experiencing this? Am I doing something wrong?

Extra credit if anyone can tell me how to clear custom FaderPort plug-in mappings.
