Cue Mix listen in

Hi everyone,
Is there a way in Studio Pro 8.1 to listen in on a Cue Mix at the push of a button?
When setting up monitor mixes in the studio, I often get the feeling that my clients and I are talking past each other, or that I could create a much better monitor mix if I could hear what happens when I "turn up the vocals a bit" or something similar.

Solo in combination with 'Solo Follows Selection' and 'Solo through the Listen Bus' will give you that option. Click on a channel or bus or cue output or main and solo will follow.

But using a StudioLive mixer in the studio I would never look at monitoring options inside SP. The best way by far to set up cue mixes between SP and a StudioLive mixer is to do it in the mixer, mixing the live inputs in there with with whatever was recorded before from SP. That will give you cue mixes with no latency at all plus it takes the burden of trying to keep up away from your recorder which is SP. And you can listen in on every input and output you like by using the solo buttons and options on the mixer.

As a huge bonus it also allows you to hand over mix control for the cue mixes to the talent, from their own smartphones or tablets. That way they can turn up or down as they feel. Big time saver.

The only drawback is that for the live inputs in those cue mixes EQ and dynamics is 'limited' to the channel processing the StudioLive mixer offers, which is plenty enough for beautiful cue mixes.
