I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't somewhere in the forum, but my searches yielded nada. So on the off chance it isn't here, here's a thing that used to bug me and now it doesn't. In Windows, I really didn't like clicking and dragging to change the size of the editing window. Then I found dbl-click. Placing the cursor on the dividing border / blue line and dbl-clicking will alternately max and min the window size vertically. Holding Ctrl while dbl-clicking will halve the size.
