Nice groove these turtles have! I like this. If anything, the total frequency spread seems a tad hot in the low-mids, but that can be my personal preference for a bit of a brighter sound.
I love the arrangement though, tasteful horn sections, swinging piano. Bravo!

Thank you for listening! This track was mastered as a Studio One project and I am still learning how to get things balanced fequncy-wise. 🐢

Sounds cool. Good mood music, which I did not expect when I read "Jazz" ;-)

However, it might only my personal opinion, but I think some lead instruments are missing some highs... not so shure. Everything things clean and fine, but my brain says: give me more hights of some instruments. Just the lead instruments, not the vocals.

EDIT: Oops, I just saw that @Gerran already wrote something similar ;-)

Thanks for the input! I will be posting more content and hopefully things will be a little brighter. FYI all my tunes are on the major streaming platforms where the audio may be cleaner…?

Probably not! YouTube is pretty decent these days. I think what Garran and SoxialAxxidense are hearing would be fixed by a semi-broad bell cut somewhere around 200-500 Hz. That'll bring up the highs yet retain the bass.
