Yeah guys, I just verified this further. It's easy to check so feel free to try.
Takes place over the arrangement....
● depress center scroll wheel button to select tool menu. Select any tool other than the arrow tool. Any selection then properly closes the tool bar, and away you go, now using that tool. Even selecting another tool, a one button click is all that is required to select and close the menu.
● on the contrary, depress the center scroll wheel button and select the arrow tool. The tool menu requires an additional click over the arrow tool selection to close. This is not necessary, and a tad clunky.
I found this was the case on Studio Pro 8.1.1.113103. I then updated to version 8.1.2. The issue is still there. I then closed Studio Pro, and opened Studio One 7.2.3. This way, I could confirm if it is not some mouse driver issue, by using the same mouse and same computer. The results are that it only takes one click to select and properly close the toolbar. Hence, the issue resides in v8.1.1 and 8.1.2. Potentially also other versions such as Studio Pro 8.0.
Note: When clicking and using the right mouse button tool bar, there are no issues at all with those tools when returning to the Select (arrow) button. Its a proper, one select & close, deal.
