Can't update track preset?

With 8.1 there's an option to update track presets by right clicking on the track (instead of dragging over to the browser with the ALT key held down).

However, I can't get it to work. The option is present but not active.

I tried opening the plugin, making changes etc. to see if it would allow me but I can't get it to appear.

It probably means that the connection to the original Track Preset has been lost. Did you freeze and unfreeze the track in the meantime?

Could be. I'll experiment more. But even after I use the old way (alt-drag), I can't update it via right click.
