Can the Fender Motion devices functions as standard MIDI controllers?

I have a system for finger drumming. I like to have the kicks on the bottom row, snares above those, hats above the snares etc. I use Addictive Drums and have set up both my previous drum pads this way by editing the MIDI note values within the companion apps, but I don't see a way to do this in the Fender Universal Control app.

Does anyone know if this can be done or if there is a MIDI or HUI mode that the device can be switched to? I created a ticket but wanted to reach out in case folks had experience with this.

No word from Fender yet. It doesn't look like any of the midi values can be changed but I was able to change the mapping in Addictive Drums so I'm good. I'll update this thread with Fender's official word when I get it.
