Black Friday License Upgrade with active period

Hi Folks,
just to get it right, i can get into one Black Friday Offer like "Licence Upgrade" for my perpetual.

And then, besides the fact my eligible time isn't run off, i can choose "Extend" on my S1—7 Product page and can claim it today without losing any "using time"?

edit:
Or, does anyone know how long is the code valid, lets say using it when it makes most sense (Update).

Apologies - but what is this post about?

VP

I think OP wants to know if they buys another subscription for Studio One Pro+ and add that to their current account, what happens to the remaining subscription time.
When subscribed in the past, my subscription was extended, not overwritten. So if your subscription expires on December 1st, and you pay for another year today, your new expiry date will be December 1st 2026, not November 28th 2026...

Presonus Studio One Pro 7 Upgrade - Upgrade from all previous versions PreSonus Studio One Artist / Producer / Professional to Studio One Pro 7

I find the name confusing and incorrect.

We are currently (with the OP) using perpetual V7. If I buy this "upgrade" now and activate it, let's say after V8 is released, will that work and lead to V8?

If that's the case, I don't think "Studio One Pro V7 Upgrade" (which is being sold by well-known EU/US retailers) is the right name.

I think a "12-Month Update or Refresh Plan" would be more appropriate and understandable.

Apologies for the confusion, this actually are my thoughts, thanks for clarifying it! :)

I also ask myself, how long is the update code valid until i have to redeem it?

Like, buying now, redeem it when an update seems worth it, maybe mid of 2026.

I think I remember Gregor saying that basically "v7" will be the last "version numbering" and it's going to be named by the year going forward. Does anyone else recall something like that? So I don't think there will be a V8, per se. It'll be like Studio One Pro 7.2026 or something along those lines

. toward the end, Gregor says Subscription is second in demand for perpetual. Will we go back to the old way, that seems to be what is said.

Thanks everyone!

I just want to get into the Black Friday deal, but at Check out after i choose perpetual it literally says:

Upgrade auf Studio One Pro+

No, i do not want to upgrade to plus, i just want a licence that i can use when my eligible time is off.

If I log in to my.presonus.com, I see the "Licence Upgrade" option:

However, when I look at the well-known retailers websites, the very confusing "Presonus Studio One Pro 7 Upgrade - Upgrade from all previous versions PreSonus Studio One Artist / Producer / Professional to Studio One Pro 7" seems to be the only viable option.

I would appreciate if someone preferably from PreSonus/Fender could explain which is the correct option to extend the perpetual V7 license.

Yeah, that's exactly my screen, if i choose the left option for 105$ it says Upgrade to Pro+

Thanks also imacken,
Thomann would be the place for me, but unfortunately they didn't offer this.

This is not difficult! Buy a code from a retailer - see my post above - then go to Studio One in MyPresonus>Your products, click on upgrade and input the code. That will extend your current licence by 12 months from its expiry date.

You can still buy from Andertons. It’s just a code that they supply via email.

I checked it last Friday and it wasn't there, thanks man!
