Automating Omnisphere MOD wheel?

I'm trying to rebuild a track I did in 2017 in Cakewalk SONAR and I automated Omnisphere's MOD wheel.

I have no idea how I did it. Can someone please help me.

Not sure if that's actually your question but automating the modwheel works the same for any plug-in - and you don't need to enable anything inside the plug-in. Just open the Note Editor, select Modulation in the automation lane and add your automation points.

Hi,

I actually had this when I pulled the MIDI from the Cakewalk project. I actually want a separate automation lane in the project timeline. I want to map the modwheel to a macro control of a multi instrument

That's awesome thanks. I'm so used to drag and drop, I did not know you can assign controls via a menu dropdown
