Audio to midi in 8.0.2 not working

I drag a lets say piano audio track or any audio track for that matter onto an instrument track,choose "extract notes" and in a few seconds it says 100% extracted but there is nothing there.Worked fine in 8.0.1 so maybe this is a bug.

Can you update your signature please with your specs?

I can reproduce Windows 11/8.0.2
I tried mono and stereo, drums and notes scenarios. Didn't work for me either.

EDIT - it did work, I just didn't wait long enough. Sorry can't reproduce.

Works fine here as well, but yes waiting is necessary despite it showing "Extracting notes: 100%" from the start

I would say the "100%" boast is the bug.

My bad..........I guess I had to wait a lot longer after it says 100% for the midi notes to show up.I did notice that it renders faster if you just right click and extract notes instead of dragging the wav into an instrument track for it to extract the notes.

Yeah looks like we both got caught on this (see my first post).
