Hi. I've been away from these boards for a bit after the Fender changeover. Glad to see it's still going strong.
I have, for years, fought a little issue with audio bending. I ended up just switching to slice mode, but after using the technology in other daws and genuinely enjoying it, I figured I'd check if it's still problematic in Studio Pro.
When editing multitrack drums, I am consistently finding myself dealing with lost transients on non-affected regions. The green (condensed) regions sound great. The red (stretched) regions sound like they should. Only when the playhead crosses over from an altered region to a non-altered region do I suddenly, and very briefly, hear the cymbals briefly disappear. It sounds like a bad edit from another take, and it happens in 5,6, and 7.
The bounced tracks confirm my suspicions that the audio briefly cuts out before ONLY the grey non-affected regions. Pictures below show it in action:
Pre bounce
Post Bounce
Next measure comparison showing no gap
I have made a video with audio demonstrating the issue.
I never reported it because I just dealt with it, but this week has been only editing drums for multiple projects for various mix engineers and I've been forced to use the slice tool while working on it. I am also open to operator error and it's me that's the problem.
Thank you.
