Anyone have issues running IK Sampletron 2? Quick tip

Hi,
I usually use an instance of Sampletron 2 in my RnR template. However, it came to my attention that, once saved, and reloaded, the saved patch doesn‘t sound. I had to go into the GUI, and re-load the patch to get it to sound. Save again. Re-load again, again no sound. This is, apparently, a known issue, and the solution I‘ve used was suggested by someone out there having the same issue.
The fix for this is Sampletank 4. I haven‘t had that on my computer for a long time. It was mostly useless to me. Anyway, I downloaded it, pointedit at the Sampletron 2 folder, and woila. It stores the patch correctly. So, if you have both apps, this should work for you (on Mac). I dunno if IK still has a free v. of Sampletank 4, though.
Hope this helps someone. (y)

Seen this happen too, the VST3 plugin just disables itself on recall, and you can't re-enable it via the mix console it either goes red border, or refuses to enable.

I tried to get to the bottom of what the issue was on one of my projects and ended up causing a crash when trying to load the project in the process (duh!). It's in some way related to the low latency mode (d), so don't play around with it like I did.

Personally, I use the Audio Unit version on Mac, and it operates and recalls fine. So that's another option for people using Mac.

Interesting. When I first started trying to get FSP going, I accidentally loaded an AU. When selected, I received a message that FSP won‘t use the AU. So, I hid all the AUs.
Anyway, re Sampletron, I‘m sure it‘s on IK. My B3X and Pianoverse work fine. I just won’t bother sending them a ticket.
