Hey All
This isn't to complain, but to see if anyone here is able to import audio files (say for a client mix) without Studio Pro 8 altering the tempo? In my case it's impossible. There is no way to *not* have the tempo messed up.
I've tried:
1) Unchecking "Stretch Audio Files" option when creating a new song
2) Setting Track Inspector to "Don't Follow"
3) Setting project to same tempo as client files before importing
4) Setting file tempo in Right Click on clip to the same tempo as client files.
5) Even created a project in S1 7 (where it behaves correctly). Simply opening that file in SP 8 mangles the files.
6) Importing from Explorer, built in browser, or Session import makes no difference.
Anyone able to import files without altering tempo? What's your trick in SP8?
First post by the way, hope ya'll enjoying Labor Day.
