Any Hope for Notation and the Score View?

It's great to see Fender keeping our DAW up to date. The one thing I would like to see is that Notion and the Score View as well as the Orchestra vst get brought up to the competitions level (Yes, I'm talking Dorico and Cubase) for scoring. It's not bad but it really needs some TLC to be competitive. You spend enough on Orchestra VSTs that you want the DAW or notation program to stay competitive. The "orchestra" could really use a new interface which is more intuitive. I don't know if they will make a release where symphonic/cinematic music is the focus, but it would be greatly appreciated by folks who compose cinematic and/or orchestral music in the DAW. This is not a complaint, it just a request. None of these areas are "bad", their just a step or two behind the industry leader in these kind of music tools I think. Maybe Dorico and Muse Score have the market corned. Or Of course, maybe it's just a market that Fender does not want to focus on.

I'd like to see this too. I'm still exporting midi files to Sibelius. At the very least, a whole score view with bulk dynamic and articulation editing would be a big step up. Plus export to PDF.

There is now the updated "Fender Notion" (must be obtained through Microsoft or Apple app stored for some reason - for free, mind you) which is working much more fluidly between the DAW and Notion.
BUT it is no comparison to Sibelius or Dorico! These are simply a whole other class of application. And with the contemporary DAW landscape and user base (and seeing so many "We need to get rid of conventional music notation" posts, vids, and shouts - not that this is anything new, really, Thank you, George Crumb and all ! ), I don't imagine it being a priority any more.
I didn't expect anything ever again along the line of an update to Notion, so the Fender update is nice to see!

For those of us still sticking to, and quite enjoying writing in (as well as needing to for the musicians we are writing for, fer feck's sake!) good ol' dot-and-line, Sibelius or Dorico are the way to go (is Finale still out there? I bloody hated Finale!)

My wife, a cellist, would love it if the score options in Studio Pro included "Bass Clef only". At present we have to export it to MuseScore or waste loads of extra paper printing a grand staff with an empty top half.

I´m not exactly sure what you mean, but it is possible to use a "Bass Clef" only in SP 8:

Wow! That's exactly what I meant and I was surprised that I couldn't do it. I was looking for a "Bass Clef" option in the "Staff Type" drop down. Now that you've told me it's possible I have found the double-click on the clef thing.

So many thanks for that. (y)(y)(y)

I thought it was a crazy omission but I wondered if it was a way to persuade us to buy Notion (back when it was paid).
