Studio One /Studio Pro can be frustratingly bad at getting rid of plugins that are causing grief. For example I downloaded a bunch of free Hornet plugins but two of them just caused a high level of grief with Studio One. It refused to scan and accept them no matter what. I removed them or I thought I did but the startup process was broken and was getting caught on these two plugins every time even though there nowhere on my system.
I came across a great plugin called Bypass on a website called Help me Devvon. Its only $15 but its extremely good at doing a full scan of your system and all you have to do is tick the ones you don't want and they are gone and I mean gone forever. It even found the two that apparently were not on my system anywhere. So my startup process is now clean and back to normal.
