I pondered what we questions we might ask if we could before we were released into this crazy world. Two versions are up on Soundclick but I'm eventually going to take one down. When I finished it I realized the solo section on the original was too damned long so I cut out 10 measures which amounted to about 22 seconds. I think this is the one I'll keep up. Anyway, hoping you enjoy it.

You have really good musical instincts. Seriously. I gotta be honest, though, and comment that the production isn't quite on the same level. If I had the time, I'd offer to mix it because the song itself is already there, and there's much potential waiting to be pulled out of it. Please don't take this as criticism! It's encouragement for you to keep pushing yourself to take your music further, because you have a style and something to say. It's almost impossible to learn good musical instincts, so you don't have to worry about that. Fortunately, it is possible to learn production Keep at it!!

It's too bad record companies don't exist as we used to know them. If this was the 70s, I could easily see a producer hearing this, treating it as a demo, booking a session for you with some hot session players, and seeing if it got traction. Which it probably would have.
