Add insert keyboard shortcut?

Hey guys,

Is there a way to add the little Insert + button to a keyboard shortcut? I found the 'add insert' command but it doesn't have the same search functionality as clicking the +.

Thanks. Unfortunately that still doesn’t search in the same way. Ideally what I’d like is a key command to bring up the search box, type in the plugin name, hit return and it instantiates it straight on the channel. Historically I’ve been using the browser with a shortcut macro that I created, which works but I’d rather get rid of the extra drag to channel step.

I'm not on the pc right now but iirc when the list appears you can just type and hit return to add it.

There's no command (shortcut) to open this menu. The both commands mentioned are the only options available.

Ah shame can I add a feature request for navigation essentials?

You can, but since I'm not even sure whether this menu is accessible from scripting, better add a FR over at https://feedback-software.presonus.com

Just found that you can actually search for the plugin by just typing the name, when the list appears. It's not like the search bar but it works.
