Accessing PSO, Symphonic Orchestra (pref fr: D drive)

Yeah, and I see all you guys locations have the simple "Soundsets" designation. I'll try that, when I'm at my computer.
Only, I still dont know why the default Sound Set folder doesn't produce expected results.
I'm not excluding a senior moment, but If they come for me, I'm going to need to be paid to keep my silence.
Drastic times call for drastic measures. πŸ€ͺ
Until then, I'll blame it on King Crimson polyrythms.

They don't fool me, I've been living in a padded cell for years, sound engineers refer to it as Acoustic Foam and Sub Baffles.

Lokey
I couldn't even begin to guess why the default folders is not seeing them. I'm just looking for options and sifting through memories from when I played with computer code.

Anyway, Larks Tounge in Aspic or Lizard?

Hope it get's sorted, kindest regards.

I think anechoic chambers are just a front for an engineers padded room. : )

Thank you for that! I'm prepared to just d'load again. If it doesn't take, I'm ok with that. Other than wondering why. Too much good that overshadows this oddity.

I'll have to say Larks, due to the familiarity, and lineup. But you're in the right time frame of some sensational works (and by many).
Hope it get's sorted, kindest regards.
Best to you, my friend.

Added: This time last year, I saw Beat, at the Beacon Theater here in NYC. Not up to Fripps or Brufords standards, but still enjoyable. We'll have to see what remains on Robert's having something to do with KC.

Cheers

Here's the full list of Sound Sets in my default folder.

I'll deleat, reload, and re path the Symphonic Orchestra files and set them right into the default folder. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

This is a first with any non functioning entity I've come across with Studio One on my end. Just two days ago, I d'loaded Cinematic Lights, and Deep Flight One. I know those are other instruments, but you get the idea.

He's too busy with Toyah and Robert's Sunday Lunch! If you haven't seen it on YT, keep mind bleach nearby...

Oh, I've seen many. There's these constant rumors that he's working on a studio album (weather he knows it or not). Lol.
I dont expect he really is just yet (physical condition and heart attack recovery). Yes, For quite a while, Toyah's been a fun companion for the league of gentleman sorcerer, himself.

Lets get this thread back on course, maybe if Lukas has some spare time he could suggest a way to get things in order.

I really should have stayed in the background until he had the opportunity to comment more!

All the best

In the mean time as mentioned, I'm loading the PSO's over again. I will install them into the default folder. Once visible, relocating should be simple. Its this initial problem that has me thinking there's some sort of file error problem. The file extensions and file sizes all appear correct, but let's see.

I deleted PSO sound sets.
Re installed. When clicked on, they auto relocate to the default Documents\Studio One\Sound Sets location. I even dragged them into the Studio One arranger as I'd done that earlier. When dragged in, there's a two second scan, and it would seem Studio One should have to see them. Only it doesn't.

The files view, or Presence does not display the PSO sound sets.

I'm out of ideas. I didnt think having to re load the files would be needed, but I tried that anyway.

I take it, its a support operation from here out. Thanks to all for providing any suggestions.

The only other thing I can think of is Activation. Have you checked activation status in Installation>Installed ?

I ran the installer, the first time around when things didn't work. Thinking the new installer would see what still needs activation. I also checked the first go around if I needed in my profile any activation status. I didnt find anything.

In the [Transfers] icon at top right of Studio One, it does display the PSO files, so that looks good.

To your question, where am I looking to find Installation>Installed ?
Sounds plausible.

Lokefly,

Edit.
If you right click on the package it should allow you to "Show in explorer" if they are visible.

Regards

They're in Explorer. I'm missing the point. Sorry.
I noted they (three PSO files) were re installed
They're shown in Explorer (same path and place).

Well guys, the bottom line is it worked!
Although, I could never follow the bread crumbs.
The first go around, I did go to the Installed content. Opened all three panels, min, recommended, and full installation.
I ran all activate where the selections pertained.
This install, I didnt, so thank you for that!
Only, this time I selected to activate again. Nothing.
Then, upon selecting the fat channel add-ons, when completed, at the top of the message displayed
Your purchased Items have been activated
Presonus Symphonic Orchestra
(See attached).

Somehow, something needed a shove.
Probably me 😊

I'll relocate accordingly. TY!

Pssst, I do see a selection in the menu under Studio One>Activate Purchased Items...
