that just switches to the same preset sizes I was hoping there would be some sort of granulation Look up it performed with the mouse wheel instead of having to go to the bottom of the screen clicking the little button and dragging it up and down to get true smooth zoom On Track HeightHi and welcome to the forum!
what?
Why not just press Shift+E / Shift+W? That's not a workaround but the shortcuts for vertical zoom.
I moved this thread to Support since it's definitely a Studio One support question.
What's "notcy control"?Hi, please tell me there is a workaround for notcy control
when you hold the control key down and move the mouse up the heights of the track lanes increases so you can zoom in and zoom out However this is not smooth It will jump between several preset sizes so I could never get it just right on screen And it's infuriating It's been like that since day one I'm on a very old version and I was hoping later versions fixed thisWhat's "notcy control"?
So many options... that all do the same thing, there are just different ways of cycling through the preset sizes, show in the picture below, there is a button to graduate the zoom but its tiny and a faff to use, this should be attached to the mouse for a smooth zoom. So I am asking is there a way to use that graduated zoom via keypress and mouse zoom which would make a lot more sense than cyling through presets. You can reassign Shift+W/E to the fine zoom (Zoom In/Out Vertical Fine) to get more granular zooming. Or you can hold Shift and drag the scroll button. So many options. Not really sure what the problem is.
This what I'm asking the whole point of the thread is there a way to control the fine zoom via keyboard/mouse controlsNeither using the Shift+E/W shortcuts nor dragging the button cycles through presets. If the regular zoom steps are too large, you can use Fine Zoom instead.
useful but it's not really what I'm after, I think it's slightly crazy this feature isn't already in it after 7 versionsI'm using this script, in case it helps.
