Why is this forum even called Studio One User Forum?

Seeing as how there is no Studio One anymore?
There absolutely is Studio One still. Version 7.2.3. It's really good. It hasn't disappeared into thin air. Lots of people will keep using it for many years. New things aren't the only things that exist.

And there are plenty of members still using versions 4, 5 and 6!

What kind of question is that? It’s called Studio One User Forum because we created it over a year ago - and there are still hundreds of thousands of Studio One users..

That tells you that someone involved in this forum had prior knowledge. Not really a surprise and not a bad thing either. :)
Yes... Ari is a QA Specialist @ Studio One/Studio Pro development team, I'm a freelance product specialist and part-time Studio One/Studio Pro project manager and developer. So… 🙃

I own licenses for 2,3,4 and 6. Obviously, my OP was misunderstood and/or taken out of context.
Some of us feel abandoned by the recent changes. While some of us, (you know who you are), have
signed a new NDA with Fender. I suppose my mistake was the title of this thread. Yes, old versions
of Studio One still exist but, apparently, PRESONUS does not. FENDER has has put its name all over
the brand and virtually erased it. Brings to mind the all the re-branding going on in this nation's capitol.
Congratulations to all of you newly minted FENDER employees.

It's correct that some guys have signed an NDA. That is a normal process during a developement phase.
PreSonus is not about to be ereased. You can check any musicians shop now and the next months and years.

Would you reveal who you are? You can also do that via private message.

I will gladly pass on the congratulations to the new Fender employees.

Lokey. You do know what happened today - right ? :)

Hey Veep, OK, got it now. Just read the news from Ari's initial post on the thread he started. I'm so far out of the loop right now, but the process seems.... ehm... interesting.

From reading what is new, I'll remain kind and treat the new "goods" as if this were a Presonus new release. I'll wait in the weeds for now and glance at a few things I've always hoped would be implemented.

We can meet back on the launcher (and other) items we last spoke on. Not seeing launcher development bulleted is not giving me a warm and cozy.

Until then, I feel the people here make this an awesome forum. A Studio One, forum. 👍
Thank you for steering me into the news, brother. Appreciated.

(whisper) psssst, between you and I, the self indulgent "Fender Pro 8" name doesn't sit well with me. It's like Avid Pro Tools 2025.12 became Procter & Gamble 2026.01. The name tends to lose its footing.

Keep in mind, this support forum is UNOFFICIAL.

That supposedly limits the amount of corporate steering Fender is able to do with enforcing naming conventions etc.
