Solved Vertical Height of Console(mixer)

lowerfreq

Member
Small issue:

I can't seem to reduce the size of the console(mixer) on my monitor screen less than about halfway... I would like to collapse it to about a 3rd of the height so I can see the arranger window about 2/3... does that make sense? I've tried resizing both arranger and console without success... is this an operator error or an S1 limitation??
Thanks!

Please post a screenshot so we can understand what you're seeing...

Also, what screen resolution and scale settings are you using?

Thanks Trucky... I adjusted the scaling in the OS and got a little more real estate for the mixer when its docked under the arranger window.

There is of course the two different height formats (small/large), and working on smaller (laptop) screens it can help to detach the console so that at least the left side of the screen (inspector, track headers) isn't blocked by it.

Yeah... I currently have two 27" monitors which really helps a lot for my old eyes, but I really would like a third screen just to keep plugs in open. My current video card only supports 2 monitors so I was hoping to minimize the console below the arranger. I guess I'm kinda lazy, but I like quick and easy access to the Toontrack products, in addition to some others I use frequently.

Or you can use the Inspector more intensively. It can show what the console shows, for the channel selected. Good alternative for when the focus is more on tweaking channels and less on balance between channels. So it depends on what stage you're in.

Good point, Switch

I also would like to see what the problem is.
Please post screenshot.
